The work analyzes the structural and planning solutions of buildings constructed in seismic regions, the main factors ensuring their seismic resistance. The shape, height, rigidity of the building, and the significance of seismic seams are shown. Ways to increase seismic resistance by reducing the inertia mass and choosing the correct structural scheme are also highlighted.
