Annotatsiya

Lung gangrene is a life-threatening destructive pulmonary disease characterized by unrestricted purulent-necrotic destruction of the lung parenchyma. It often develops against a background of severe pneumonia, aspiration, anaerobic microflora, impaired bronchial drainage, decreased immunity, sepsis, or acute disruption of pulmonary circulation. Results indicate that early diagnosis, contrast-enhanced computed tomography, microbiological evaluation, comprehensive antibacterial therapy, correction of respiratory failure, and surgical intervention in necessary cases are crucial in lung gangrene. The article is prepared for educational and scientific purposes and cannot replace individual medical advice or independent treatment guidelines.
