BRIDGING CULTURES: THE PHILOSOPHICAL AND THEMATIC RESONANCE OF T.S.ELIOT IN CONTEMPORARY UZBEK LITERATURE

This article explores the thematic and philosophical impact of Thomas Stearns Eliot’s literary corpus on contemporary Uzbek literature. It investigates how Eliot’s central themes—spiritual emptiness, time and temporality, identity fragmentation, and the crisis of modernity—have found resonance in the works of 21st- century Uzbek poets and novelists. Through a comparative literary and thematic analysis, the study demonstrates that Eliot's works have transcended cultural boundaries, becoming a source of intellectual and artistic influence for Uzbek writers navigating postcolonial identity, religious resurgence, and cultural revival
