SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INTERNAL CRAIN HEMATOMAS IN THE PAST PERIOD.

Intracranial hematomas remain one of the leading causes of mortality and disability in the acute period of traumatic brain injury and spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage. Surgical treatment aims to eliminate mass effect, reduce intracranial pressure, and prevent secondary ischemic injury. This article discusses indications for surgery, modern surgical techniques (craniotomy, decompressive craniectomy, minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures), and analyzes domestic and international studies. Treatment algorithms and comparative outcomes of different approaches are presented.
