INNOVATIVE APPROACHES AND CHALLENGES IN FINANCING GREEN PROJECTS

The article provides a comprehensive theoretical and practical analysis of the necessity and significance of green financing. It presents statistical evidence on the development of the global green bond market as well as the evolution of the green finance system in Uzbekistan. The study examines the role of innovative financial mechanisms - such as sovereign and corporate green bonds, regional cooperation, and blended financing approaches - in financing green projects. In addition, the article offers scientifically grounded practical recommendations for the implementation and advancement of the green economy and green financing framework in Uzbekistan. The findings of the study can be applied to enhance political and financial mechanisms aimed at ensuring sustainable development and promoting environmental investments.
