O‘ZBEK TILI KORPUSINI YARATISHNING NAZARIY ASOSLARI

This article discusses the theoretical foundations of creating a corpus of the Uzbek language. The concept of a language corpus, its role in linguistic research, and its significance in modern linguistics are analyzed. The article examines the formation of the direction of corpus linguistics, types of corpora, and their functional capabilities. It also justifies the need to create a national corpus for the Uzbek language, methodological principles, and criteria for selecting data. Particular attention is paid to the issues of defining, annotating, and standardizing the corpus. The results of the research serve the development of the Uzbek language in a digital environment. It is concluded that the scientific approach allows for the systematic accumulation, storage, and processing of language resources, which serves as an important theoretical basis for future research, education, translation, and applied linguistics.
