ADAPTIVE TRANSFORMABLE FASHION: DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF MODULAR GARMENT COLLECTIONS

This study explores the design, development, and evaluation of transformable garment collections within contemporary fashion. Transformable clothing—capable of changing silhouette, function, or usage through modular construction—offers sustainability advantages, consumer personalization, and extended product lifecycle. Using an IMRAD structure, the paper analyzes existing practices, proposes a design methodology, and presents prototype outcomes. Findings demonstrate that transformable garments significantly enhance usability while reducing material waste.
