“THE METHODICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF QUICK EXERCISES IN SHAPING STUDENTS’ AESTHETIC TASTE”

This article analyzes the methodological significance of quick sketching exercises in shaping students’ aesthetic taste. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that the development of aesthetic taste in art education is effectively achieved not only through theoretical knowledge but also through consistent and rapid exercises. Quick sketches enhance students’ observation, imaginative thinking, and artistic expression, contributing to the formation of creative perspectives based on aesthetic criteria. The purpose of the article is to examine the methodological foundations of quick sketching exercises in developing students’ aesthetic taste. The study was conducted with students of the “Fine Arts and Engineering Graphics” program at Shahrisabz State Pedagogical Institute, comparing the results of control and experimental groups. The findings confirmed that systematic use of quick sketching exercises is an effective tool in fostering aesthetic taste.
