THE NEED FOR VETERINARY EDUCATION IN UZBEKISTAN

This article discusses the formation of the need for veterinary education in Uzbekistan, its historical, economic and social factors on a scientific and theoretical basis. The development of livestock breeding in the country, the prevention of zoonotic diseases, ensuring animal health and increasing the safety of agricultural products are indicated as the main factors that increased the demand for the veterinary sector. Also, the stages of development of the veterinary system after independence, the organization of modern veterinary directions in higher educational institutions and the processes of personnel training are analyzed. The results of the study confirm that veterinary education in Uzbekistan is the main guarantee of economic stability, food security and animal health.
