DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH COMPETENCIES AS A PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM

This article examines the pedagogical aspects of developing students' learning and research competencies. The author views this process as a pressing issue in the education system. The study analyzes the concept of "competence," its components, and the pedagogical conditions that influence its development. The article provides practical suggestions for developing scientific thinking and independent research skills in students by integrating elements of research activities into the educational process.
