IMPROVEMENT OF IMMUNOHEMATOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PROPHYLAXIS OF COMORBID HEMORRHAGIC VASCULITIS AND NEPHROPATHY IN CHILDREN

The comorbid course of hemorrhagic vasculitis (Henoch–Schönlein purpura) and nephropathy in children is associated with more severe clinical manifestations and profound immune-hematological disturbances. The study investigated immune and hematological parameters (IgA, IgG, IgM, CD4+/CD8+ ratio, complement C3, and blood indices). Results revealed elevated IgA levels, activation of the complement system, and a reduced CD4+/CD8+ ratio. The improved preventive program — including immunomodulatory therapy and long-term follow-up — reduced relapse frequency and preserved renal function in affected children.
