RENDERING EXPRESSIVE LEXIS AND EMOTIONAL UNITS IN TRANSLATION FROM ITALIAN INTO UZBEK

The article analyzes the challenges of conveying expressive vocabulary and emotional units in translation from Italian into Uzbek. It highlights the importance of preserving semantic nuances and emotional coloring during the translation process. Drawing on examples from Alda Merini’s poetry and contemporary Italian literature, the study explores linguopoetic strategies for reproducing expressiveness in Uzbek. The findings demonstrate that in translation studies, rendering emotional layers requires not only semantic equivalence but also pragmatic adaptation.
