Blended Learning Approaches in Language Teaching: Opportunities and Constraints

Blended learning has emerged as a transformative approach in language education, combining face-to-face instruction with online components to enhance learner engagement, autonomy, and language proficiency. This article examines the pedagogical opportunities and constraints of blended learning in second and foreign language instruction. Drawing on recent empirical research and case studies, the paper explores various models of blended learning, their impact on skill development, learner motivation, and teacher roles.
