ROTAVIRUS INFECTION AMONG CHILDREN: TRANSMISSION, RISKS AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES

This article extensively discusses the transmission of rotavirus infection among children under 5 years old, its clinical manifestations, mortality rates, treatment, and preventive methods. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and international practices, the severity of the infection, its seasonal characteristics, and the possibilities of prevention through vaccination are analyzed. Morbidity rates and vaccination effectiveness among children are compared using examples from low- and high-income countries.
