THE RELАTIОN ОF PRAGMATIC MARKERS WITH CULTURE АND ITS RОLE IN REPRESENTING CULTURE

This article examines the intrinsic relationship between language and culture, emphasizing the crucial role of linguistic systems in representing, transmitting, and shaping cultural knowledge. Language serves not merely as a communicative tool but as a cultural medium that encodes values, beliefs, social norms, and historical experiences of a community. The study highlights how lexical choices, idiomatic expressions, discourse structures, and pragmatic markers reflect cultural priorities and worldview. It further explores the mechanisms through which culture is preserved and communicated through language, including the use of proverbs, metaphors, culturally specific terms, and pragmatic markers in both spoken and written discourse. Drawing on theoretical frameworks from sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, and cultural studies, the article demonstrates that understanding the interdependence of language, culture, and pragmatic markers is essential for interpreting texts, cross-cultural communication, and the study of national identity.
