MAIN DIRECTIONS FOR ELIMINATING THE HIDDEN ECONOMY IN THE SERVICE SECTOR

The article notes that despite the implementation of a number of positive measures in the service sector, which is one of the main drivers of the national economy, the volume of the shadow economy in this sector remains high. It is emphasized that the high level of adaptability of the service sector to market conditions, as well as the widespread possibility of selling goods and services for cash, creates favorable conditions for the existence of the shadow economy. Based on the need to combat the shadow economy in the service sector, certain manifestations of this problem in the Samarkand region are examined, and proposals and recommendations are developed to prevent and eliminate them.
