ECONOMICAL USE OF WATER RESOURCES, EFFICIENT IRRIGATION AND INNOVATIONS IN MELON GROWING

This article examines the economical use of water resources, effective irrigation methods and innovative technologies in melon cultivation in the arid climate of Uzbekistan. Modern approaches to water conservation in melon cultivation, including drip irrigation, deficit irrigation, mulching and fertigation, are analyzed. The results of the study show that innovative irrigation systems can increase yields by 20-30% and reduce water consumption by 30-50%. The article offers ways to solve the problem of water scarcity, based on practical examples from Khorezm and other regions of Uzbekistan. These approaches contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture and increase economic efficiency.
