MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE SINUSOIDS OF LYMPH NODES IN PREECLAMPSIA

Due to the insufficient study of tissue and organ changes caused by preeclampsia, the aim of this work was to identify the specific features of pathomorphological changes developing in the lymph nodes of women who died from preeclampsia.
In preeclampsia, edema around the lymph nodes increases, the sinusoids expand, and the parenchyma undergoes atrophy. In the parenchyma of the lymph nodes, morphofunctional areas are not clearly distinguishable; the stroma undergoes collapse, sclerosis, and reticulosis, leading to atrophy.
