      "abstract": "This article highlights the pedagogical and didactic possibilities of the\r\nproblem-based situation method in developing children's creative thinking potential\r\nduring visual activities in preschool educational institutions. The study analyzes the\r\nessence of problem-based situations, their classification, and the methodological\r\nalgorithm for their organization. Furthermore, the mechanisms for developing\r\ncomponents of creative thinking\u2013such as originality, flexibility, idea fluency,\r\nelaboration, and reflection\u2013through a problem-based approach are substantiated.\r\nPractical examples of problem-based situations used in visual activities, as well as\r\nassessment criteria, are also presented.Theresearch findings indicatethat theproblem-\r\nbased situation method serves as an effective methodological tool for activating the\r\npreschool educational process and fostering independent thinking and creative\r\napproaches in children.",
