The comparison examines how each language uses pronouns, titles, honorifics, kinship terms, and context-based strategies to express respect or social distance. Findings show that English tends toward egalitarian norms with a single universal second-person pronoun, while Uzbek maintains a more hierarchical system that reflects age and status differences. The analysis relies on major theoretical frameworks, including Brown and Levinson’s politeness theory and ;cross-cultural pragmatics.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2025-11-23</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Maqola</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_96120"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_96120_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
