Drawing upon the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and international practice, the author analyzes the role of public policy considerations in the recognition, enforcement, and implementation of mediated settlement agreements. The study also explores the connection between state policies on mediation and the principles of public policy in foreign jurisdictions.
