It examines the limitations of traditional approaches and explores the role of innovative methods such as STEAM integration, Project-Based Learning (PBL), interactive techniques, and information technologies in biology education. Based on research findings, the positive impact of modern methods on students' knowledge acquisition, engagement, and 21st-century skill development is demonstrated. A critical analysis of the relationship between active learning strategies and academic performance is also presented. The chapter concludes with practical recommendations for improving the education of cartilaginous fish.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">2026-03-30</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Maqola</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_93518"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_93518_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
