The rapid development of information and communication technologies, the spread of the Internet, and the popularity of social networks have significantly transformed the processes of perceiving, interpreting, and preserving historical events. The study examines the digital transformation of historical memory, the mechanisms of collective consciousness formation, and the influence of mass media and virtual space on public consciousness. Particular attention is paid to the problems of manipulation of historical information, disinformation, and information security in the digital environment. The scientific views of Eastern and Western scholars on historical memory and collective consciousness are analyzed in relation to modern global processes. As a result of the research, scientific conclusions are drawn regarding the preservation and development of historical memory and collective consciousness in the conditions of digital society. date: 2026-06-14 date_type: published publisher: "Research Science and Innovation house" LLC official_url: https://universalpublishings.com/index.php/jusr/article/view/19308 id_number: 10.66301/azd39x29 full_text_status: restricted publication: Journal of Universal Science Research; Vol. 4 No. Maxsus son-3 (2026): “ZAMONAVIY TA’LIMDA SUN’IY INTELLEKTNI QO‘LLASHNING ISTIQBOLLARI VA MUAMMOLARI” XALQARO ILMIY-AMALIY ANJUMAN; 974-979 citation: Abrayeva, Farangiz Jumanazar qizi, Jumayeva, Gulnora Tursunpulatovna (2026) FORMATION OF HISTORICAL MEMORY AND COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS IN THE DIGITAL SOCIETY.
