The study covers the main stages of database development for document management information systems, including conceptual, logical, and physical design. During the research, the subject domain was analyzed, and the key system entities, their attributes, and relationships were identified. Based on the Entity–Relationship model, a conceptual database model was developed and subsequently transformed into a relational model normalized up to the third normal form. As a result, a database model supporting document storage, user and role management, access control, and document versioning was proposed. The obtained results demonstrate that the developed database model is an effective and practically applicable solution for document-oriented information systems.   date: 2026-06-05 date_type: published publisher: Center for Tech and Media Research official_url: https://mjstjournal.com/index.php/mjst/article/view/7622 id_number: oai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/7622 full_text_status: public publication: Multidisciplinary Journal of Science and Technology; Vol. 6 No. 6 (2026): Multidisciplinary Journal of Science and Technology; 23-29 citation: Rashidbek, G‘afforov (2026) DESIGN AND CREATION OF A DATABASE FOR THE DOCUZBASE PROJECT.
