abstract: This study analyzes the conceptual differences between the economic categories of "innovation" and "innovation process" and their functional interdependence. The innovation process is interpreted as a holistic system that includes the stages of designing, introducing into production and transforming innovations. In this regard, modern technological solutions serve as a fundamental driver (tool) for achieving high efficiency and increasing production productivity in the agro-industrial complex, industrial sectors and the service sector.
