abstract: This article analyzes current problems related to information security in networks, their causes and modern solutions. The study examines the main threats such as malware, DDoS attacks, Phishing, ransomware, Man-in-the-Middle (MITM), insider threats and zero-day vulnerabilities and assesses their impact on network systems. It also analyzes firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, multifactor authentication (MFA), cryptographic protection tools and artificial intelligence-based anomaly detection methods used to ensure network security.
