%X Language is a living system that constantly evolves to meet the communicative needs of its users. The creation of new words—also known as word formation—is both an art and a science, as it reflects human creativity while following linguistic rules. This paper explores the major processes of word formation and derivation in English, emphasizing their structural, semantic, and cultural significance. It also examines how modern technological and social trends influence neologism creation and how speakers intuitively understand and accept new lexical items.
