Tadqiqot Termiz (O‘zbekiston) va Vinchester (Angliya) shaharlarining toponimik obyekt nomlari materiallari asosida olib borildi. Toponimlarning etimologik ildizlari, semantik motivatsiyasi, topoformantlar tizimi va nomlash strategiyalaridagi farqlar tahlil qilindi.
