%X This article analyzes the role of bilingualism and multilingualism in personal, social, and academic development. The phenomenon of bilingualism and multilingualism is gaining increasing popularity worldwide, as the process of globalization makes it necessary to know different languages. The article primarily explores how bilingualism affects cognitive (conscious) development, including thinking, memory, and problem-solving ability. At the same time, socio-cultural and psychological aspects are also considered, namely how bilingual individuals interact with different cultures and how this affects their personality, social integration, and adaptability. This article will be useful for researchers, educators, and parents studying various aspects of the phenomenon of bilingualism and multilingualism.
