abstract: This article explores the essential role of nouns in language,nbsp;focusing on their structural and semantic types as well as their syntacticalnbsp;functions in sentences. It provides a detailed classification of nouns based onnbsp;structure (e.g., simple, compound, collective) and meaning (e.g., proper,nbsp;common, concrete, abstract). The article further examines the various syntacticalnbsp;roles nouns play in sentences, such as subjects, objects, complements,nbsp;appositives, and modifiers.
