N2  - The Eurasian continent is witnessing rapid glacial retreat due to rising global temperatures, with profound natural geographic consequences. This paper investigates the spatial dynamics of glacial melting across major mountain ranges such as the Himalayas, Tien Shan, and the Caucasus. The study also explores the impact of glacier loss on river regimes, ecosystems, natural hazards, and regional climate feedbacks. By integrating satellite data, climatological trends, and hydrological analysis, the article highlights the urgent need for sustainable water management and climate adaptation policies in glacially fed regions.
