They range from simple defects, such as atrial septal defects, to complex malformations like tetralogy of Fallot and hypoplastic left heart syndrome. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of CHDs, focusing on classification, pathophysiology, diagnostic tools, and treatment strategies.
