Gap bo‘laklarini aniqlash uchun asosiy morfologik va sintaktik kategoriyalar (so‘z turkumi, kelishik, shaxs-son moslashuvi va boshqalar) ajratilib, ular asosida “rule-based” yondashuvga tayangan qat’iy qoidalar tizimi ishlab chiqiladi.
