abstract: This article discusses the role of mathematics in the modern education system, its importance in the formation of individual thinking and its role in the development of practical skills in a scientific manner. The theoretical foundations and practical applications of mathematics are analyzed, and the formation of logical, analytical and critical thinking skills through science is justified. Modern approaches to teaching mathematics and their impact on educational effectiveness are also shown.
