%X In the literary process, poetics is enriched with new ideas, themes, styles, and tendencies, leading to transformations, differentiations, and syntheses across types and genres. Biographical and autobiographical works have evolved as a direct result of this phenomenon, becoming more complex in form and richer in content. This article analyzes the generic features, specific characteristics, developmental stages, and interrelations of biographical and autobiographical works from a comparative perspective.
