Melody focuses on the rise and fall of pitch (intonation), which conveys emotions, intent, and meaning. Tempo refers to the speed of speech, which can signal urgency or thoughtfulness, while timbre relates to the unique quality of the voice, distinguishing speakers and adding expressive depth to communication.
