	bibo:abstract "Brucellosis is a zoonotic infectious disease transmitted by bacteria of the genus Brucella. The disease can occur in humans and animals in a chronic or acute form. This article discusses the pathogenesis of brucellosis, that is, the stages of the disease development and the mechanisms of Brucella bacteria living inside the cell. Also, the innate and adaptive immune response of the body, the activity of T-lymphocytes and macrophages, and the processes of fighting infection through cytokines are analyzed in detail. According to the results of the study, the Th1-type immune response is an effective defense mechanism against the chronic course of the disease, but the intracellular survival strategy and immune evasion properties of the pathogen contribute to the long-term persistence of the infection. This article provides a scientific basis for improving the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of brucellosis."^^xsd:string;
