      "abstract": "The article focuses on the beginning of Franklin D. Roosevelt\u2019s presidency and analyzes the main measures and directions of his policy during the early years in office. It examines key initiatives aimed at overcoming the effects of the Great Depression, strengthening the economy and social welfare, and forming a new model of governance. Special attention is given to the New Deal programs, their social, economic, and political aspects, as well as their impact on the development of the US institutional and party system. The mechanisms of reform implementation and the president\u2019s role in mobilizing political support are analyzed. The significance of Roosevelt\u2019s early years in shaping the long-term strategy of US domestic and foreign policy is emphasized.",
