N2  - The article considers how ontology is structured and used as a linguistic database. Linguistic ontology allows for a structural description of language units, lexical-semantic relationships, and terminological systems. The database is used as an interactive resource in scientific research, terminological development, and language teaching. At the same time, the integration of ontology with electronic corpora and the possibilities of data retrieval, analysis, and visualization are discussed. This approach ensures the systematic and effective use of terminology in linguistic research.
