The study emphasizes the important role of terms in ensuring clarity and clarity in scientific communication. Various methods of term formation, such as affixation, compound word formation, abbreviation, and borrowing from other languages, are analyzed. The article also highlights the importance of preserving linguistic identity in the development of terminological systems in the native language, in particular, in the case of the Uzbek language.</dc:description>
