The theoretical foundations of innovative pedagogy, innovative technologies, interactive methods, digital forms of education, innovative competence of teachers and the formation of an innovative environment in educational institutions are analyzed. The application of innovative approaches in the education system of Uzbekistan, their effectiveness and problems encountered in the process of practical implementation are also considered. At the end of the article, scientifically based proposals and recommendations are given for the introduction of pedagogical innovations.</dc:description>
