abstract: This article examines the legal regulation of adoption in Uzbekistan and England. A comparative legal analysis is provided of the legislation governing adoption, the requirements for adoptive parents, the rights and obligations of the parties, and the procedures for establishing and formalizing adoption. Based on this analysis, conclusions are drawn regarding areas for improving the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the area of ​​adoption.
