abstract: the adoption of Uzbekistan's new constitution in 2023 represents a pivotal reform aimed at bolstering the foundational legal framework that underpins sustainable economic development, emphasizing enhanced protections for human rights, property ownership, and investment activities while aligning with global standards for responsible business conduct. This constitutional overhaul facilitates greater economic liberalization by strengthening the rule of law, promoting foreign direct investment through transparent mechanisms, and fostering an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and poverty alleviation, thereby laying the groundwork for transitioning Uzbekistan towards an upper-middle-income status by 2030. Ultimately, the document serves as a cornerstone for societal progress, integrating social welfare provisions with market-oriented reforms to ensure equitable growth, mitigate external economic vulnerabilities, and enhance the nation's competitiveness in the international arena.
