The study explores the use of international musical theatr terms in both languages, the formation of culture-specific terms within each theatrical tradition, and the processes of semantic adaptation in stage performance. The findings demonstrate that while English and Uzbek musical theatre share a number of universal lexical items, their national-cultural terms show significant divergence. The research provides a theoretical foundation for contrastive studies in musical theatre terms.
