      "abstract": "Hirudotherapy is one of the oldest methods of traditional medicine, based on the use of\nmedicinal leeches. This article discusses the biological mechanisms of hirudotherapy, its role in folk\npractices, and its modern clinical applications. The method has shown effectiveness in cardiovascular,\nneurological, and dermatological conditions. Despite limited contraindications, hirudotherapy\nremains a relevant, safe, and supportive therapeutic approach.",
