This approach fosters not only vocabulary growth but also critical thinking and communicative competence. The study examines various strategies for selecting and implementing authentic materials, their impact on student motivation, and their role in improving retention and application of new vocabulary. Through a review of current literature and classroom-based evidence, the findings suggest that authentic materials significantly enhance vocabulary learning by bridging the gap between classroom exercises and real-life language use.
