This paper explores the significance of integrating intercultural awareness into ELT and presents pedagogical approaches for fostering students' ability to communicate effectively and appropriately across cultural contexts. Drawing on teacher interviews, classroom observations, and student feedback, the study identifies strategies such as authentic materials, culture-based tasks, and critical reflection activities as effective in enhancing intercultural sensitivity.
