abstract: This article explores the role of commercial banks in financing environmentally friendlytechnologies, with a particular focus on small business entities. In the context of currentenvironmental challenges and the demands of sustainable development, the adoption of greentechnologies by small businesses is of growing importance. The environmental lending instrumentsoffered by commercial banks play a key role in promoting ecological sustainability by providingfinancial support to small business entities. The study analyzes practical cases, statistical indicators,as well as both international and local experiences within the context of Uzbekistan. The researchfindings highlight the need to further improve the mechanisms of green financing by commercialbanks and to enhance the active participation of small business entities in this process
