Qualitative findings revealed that high working memory learners employed effective strategies such as mnemonic devices, chunking, and contextual guessing, resulting in higher engagement, autonomy, and confidence. These findings highlight the importance of considering individual cognitive differences in designing effective vocabulary instruction.
