Recognized for his masterful synthesis of traditional Uzbek music with moderncompositional techniques, Burhonov elevated national musical art to the international stage. Thestudy examines the artistic and aesthetic messages embedded in his melodies, the deep connectionbetween his works and oral folk traditions, and his influential contributions to film and theatricalmusic. Additionally, it analyzes his impact as a pedagogue and cultural figure. Special attention isgiven to the cultural and spiritual significance of Burhonov’s oeuvre in shaping the Uzbek nationalidentity and inspiring future generations.
